Snoods are used to protect our dog's ears and keep them clean when eating and other occasions, especially on wet, muddy days.
Spaniels are mostly the ones in need of snoods, but if you have any breed of long-eared or long-haired dog a snood will be helpful. Snoods
keep the dog's ears clean and without mats. Great for poodles and Shitzus also.
While some dogs may initially object to wearing a snood, they will very soon learn the "No Snood, No Food!" rule and will happily
wear their snoods at mealtime and other times, and keep those beautiful ears clean.
We have a variety of beautiful colors and prints, with soft, comfortable, stretchy elastic on each end sewn into a pocket forming a ruffle. Having the elastic
in a pocket prevents any breakage
of coat and prevents the friction of exposed elastic on fur, which can cause matting. You may even want to purchase matching
coats or other items!
Snood are also great to cover up the head or ears after Surgery to keep the wound
clean!
Our snoods come in six (6) sizes and can be custom "tweaked" to your needs..
Extra Small Snoods are approximately 6" from end to end, and the neck opening measures approximately
9" - 15". These are a great fit for very small toy breeds.
Small Snoods are approximately 8" from end to end, and the neck opening measures approximately
10" - 20". These are a great fit for Miniature Poodles, Shitzus, Yorkies, Maltese, and Pom.
Medium Snoods are approximately 11" from end to end, and the neck opening measures approximately
11" - 23". These are a great fit for American and English Cocker Spaniels and Cavalier Spaniels.
Large Regular Snoods are approximately 14" from end to end, and the neck opening
measures approximately 15" - 26". These are a great fit for Springer Spaniels, Afghans and Standard Poodles.
Large Shorter Snoods are approximately 12" from end to end, and the neck opening
measures approximately 16" - 27". These are a great fit for Bassett Hounds.
Extra Large Snoods are approximately 16" from end to end, and the neck opening
measures approximately 18" - 32". These are a special order for Larger Breeds and made to fit your dog.
